2026 Safety & Skills Competition

Description

The Florida Concrete & Products Association Safety & Skills Competition, taking place November 14, 2026, in Daytona Beach, Florida, is the premier statewide rodeo event dedicated to promoting safety, professionalism, and operational excellence within Florida’s concrete industry.

The competition features obstacle courses designed to test the precision, control, and skill of operators in ready-mix trucks, frontend loaders, and forklifts. Participants are also evaluated on preventative maintenance knowledge, as well as a written test that reinforces industry best practices.

This event highlights the importance of workplace safety while recognizing the expertise and dedication of equipment operators and industry professionals from across the state. The Safety & Skills Competition provides an opportunity for companies, employees, and supporters of the concrete industry to come together in a spirit of education, teamwork, and friendly competition.

Time

7:15 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. Competitors need to check in at the Registration Table in the Exhibit Hall located in the West Concourse 7:50 a.m. Competitors to report to competition area for walk-thru (no earlier) 8:00 a.m. Doors open for spectators 9:00 a.m.Competition begins 12:00 p.m. Lunch, Raffle, Awards
